Once you’ve had your tours and trips with Bros, please leave your comments, ‘testimonials’ below for others to read and review.  Give details of the trip or tour you took with Bros and his Tuk Tuk or bike around Siem Reap and Angkor, perhaps recommend certain angkor temples or leave tips for others to make the most of their visit and tuk tuk hire in Siem Reap.  This is also your chance to say thanks to Bros.

Feel free to link to photos of you on your trip, perhaps with Bros too, or alternatively email them to him for inclusion on the site.

This section is obviously relatively new, but will build as more people book directly with Bros.

  1. I’m Steve, from England. I created this site for Bros after I took an excellent 3 day tour with him during my time in Siem Reap and Angkor (November 2015). I have no hesitation in recommending him to others. I myself had received a word of mouth recommendation for him from my friend who had previously visited Siem Reap and used Bros as his Tuk Tuk driver. After getting to know Bros more and understanding how the booking of tuk tuk drivers worked (referred by hotels who take a cut of any earnings), it was clear to me why Bros wanted to have a website to attract customers directly. That’s why I offered to create this simple free WordPress site to hopefully do just that.

I made contact with Bros before leaving the UK and was able to confirm my flight number and time for arrival in Siem Reap for Bros to pick me up from the airport. I also via email agreed that on my first full day he would pick me up from my hotel (I stayed in the Kiri Boutique Hotel, Siem Reap) at 8am to take the ‘Big Tour’ – see the ‘Tours’ page on this site for more detail. I’ve always been a bit apprehensive about booking ahead and whether drivers etc will be there to pick you up as agreed, but I am pleased to say in every instance Bros was early. Even during my time in Siem Reap Bros would email me when he was waiting outside my hotel, on average 15 mins ahead of our booked time. This wasn’t to make me feel rushed, but just to inform and give reassurance he was there.

During my time in Siem Reap and Angkor, Bros:

    * Picked me up from the airport

    * Took me on the ‘Big Tour’ on my first full day.

    * Took me on the ‘Small tour’ on my second full day, including sunrise at Angkor Wat (incredible), with a 5am pickup.

    * Took me on a tour of Phnom Kulen National Park on my third day using just the motorbike and supplying me with a helmet. The park was incredible, especially the waterfall (I will add a post about this).

    * Dropped and picked me up from the Notorious ‘Pub Street’ in Siem Reap at agreed times. I can highly recommend ‘Miss Wongs’ if you’re looking for somewhere a bit less loud, more chilled vibes and sophisticated cocktails (~$4 USD each).

During the whole tour I felt safe with Bros, not just his driving, but him picking and dropping me off at agreed times, him also thinking of and watching out for my possessions and giving me useful advice about the various sellers and con artists you may encounter as you visit the area.

When Bros was waiting for me whilst I visited the temples I never felt rushed. He was happy for me to take my time as needed. I think this is an extremely important factor and highly appreciated.

Water. I can’t emphasize how good it was to have Bros supplying ICE COLD water during the tours. You definitely can’t be out in the heat in Siem Reap and Angkor during the day taking in the sites of the temples such as Angkor Wat without keeping well hydrated, and ice cold water is so much better. It’s all covered in the tour cost.

I’m not sure what more to say, other than to thank Bros personally. I hope to build up this site for him and any potential or past customers like yourself, to ensure you have an excellent tour of the Angkor temples and surrounding area of Siem Reap.

Please add your comments and testimonials to this page, Bros really will appreciate it.

Note – this site is a work in progress at the moment (November 2015) – I’ll be adding new posts about the tours I took and extra detail in the near future. Feel free to get in touch on the ‘FAQ’ page linked from the main site menu at the top of this and every page on this site.

  2. I met Bros back in 2012 when I met him outside the beautiful Royal Crown Hotel in Siem Reap. Bros over the following 3 days drove me around Angkor Wat and waited for me on day 1, when I was over an hour late to meet him outside Angkor. One of my highlights of the trip was sitting with Bros on the banks of the moat at sunset, overlooking Angkor with a well earned beer whilst watching local kids do backflips into the water.

As a single traveller in 2012 and given the volume of Tuk Tuks that are around Angkor, I was hugely impressed that he told me where to go and where to meet him on the map, which given the size of the areas is no small thing.

Over the last 3-4 years he and I have stayed in touch and I pleased to call him a friend, who I have recommended to 4 or 5 of my friends over the last few years. Needless to say when it was obvious that I was lucky enough to be heading back to Angkor in 2015, there was only one person to contact.

Both my partner and I had an amazing time with Bros, where we both felt confident enough to leave a bag of things in his Tuk Tuk whilst we walked the site and never felt concerned that it might not be there when we got back. Not only is he a safe, reliable driver, he is very chatty and gives you a good insight into the local life.

I have absolutely no reservations in recommending him and would thoroughly recommend enjoying a cold drink at the end of the day, to enjoy the majesty of Angkor and that incredible sense of wonder.

  3. I stumbled across Bros’s page somehow before i left for my Cambodian holiday and contacted him on his Line phone number to advise him that ill be requiring a tuk tuk driver while I’m on holiday in Siem Rep.

In total i used the services of Bros for three full days.
Day 1 he picked me up at 7am to take me zip lining at the Angkor Zipline (highly recommended) he waited for me to complete my activities and then we proceeded to Angkor Thom,Angkor Wat and Bayon temples.

Day 2 Bros picked me up and we headed off to the Phnom Kulen National Park. Being a solo traveller Bros was more than happy to take photos of me as i swam underneath the waterfall or in front of the reclining Buddha etc.

Day 3 Bros suggested for me to check out the Floating Fishing Village. The trip out there on the tuk tuk gave me a great insight into village life of the Cambodian families. We then hopped onto a boat and headed out to the fishing village

I highly recommend Bros for your tuk tuk driver. He speaks great english and is very knowledgeable about Siem Rep. He drives safely and reliably. He can be trusted to mind your bags and belongings also. Bros is a hard working man supporting his young family. He is punctual and was always on time.

    Thank you Bros

    Joe S, Melbourne, Australia
